Agathon was founded in 2023 by Dr Colin Kelly, combining rigorous academic foundations in AI with over a decade of experience deploying machine learning solutions in challenging commercial environments. After completing his mathematics and computer science degree at Oxford, Colin earned his PhD in Natural Language Processing from Cambridge, where he developed novel systems for deriving common-sense knowledge from unstructured text using advanced machine learning techniques.
